An Original Vintage Movie Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 180 pages) (Learn More) Action in the North Atlantic, the 1943 Lloyd Bacon World War II (WWII) Naval Navy military action thriller ("Bogart's Biggest absolutely! He's back form Casablanca in ... Action in the North Atlantic"; "In love and in danger with a flag, a ship, and a woman!"; "Warner Bros. Thunderous Story of the Men of the Merchant Marine!"; "Based on a story by Guy Gilpatric") starring Humphrey Bogart, Raymond Massey, Alan Hale Sr., Julie Bishop, Dane Clark, and Dick Hogan. Note that Warner Bros. had the nerve to bill this movie as "Bogart's Biggest absolutely!", which even they knew was ridiculous, but they also added "he's back from Casablanca", indicating that they were hoping to get some of the people who loved that movie to come watch this one as well! Important Added Info: Note that this script is the revised final draft from September 1, 1942 and the screenplay was written by John Howard Lawson, and W. R. Burnett. Also note that there are pink revision pages from 10/21, which are not bound together, and they were not inserted into the main script, as is typical. There are other revision pages that are bound into the script that are from various dates in September, and also some undated yellow revision pages. Also note that there is also a 2-page letter from Alex Evelove giving a synopsis of the movie and a 3-page list of changes to montages dated 11/5/42, and which was written by Don Siegel, who would go on to be a highly successful director! Finally, note that there are some pencil notations scattered in the script and that the final back blank page has a long list that is a "log" of daily shots, with dates from September and October. Condition: very good. The revision pages are in a separate section . The covers were printed slightly larger than the rest of the script and they are tattered around the edges.
