An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 8 1/2" x 10 3/4") (Learn More) 3D Movie Magazine, a special magazine that came out in 1953 to capitalize on the 3-Dimension craze. We know there were at least two issues and that each issue had interior images that were printed in 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension), and each magazine had a pair of 3-D glasses included. There were also lots of non-3-D articles. We imagine that this magazine ceased publication sometime when the 3-D craze wound down. If anyone knows more about this magazine, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This item is from the "3-D" release. Also note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and a picture of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: poor. The 3-D glasses are missing, as is page 21/22, which was the page that had a 3-D portrait of Marilyn Monroe (who can blame someone for tearing out that page?).
