Artist: Roger Kastel Important Added Info: Note that this poster is from when this movie was first shown on TV on November 4th, 1979! Posters created for TV were only sent to TV stations showing the movie, and unlike theaters, those stations really had nowhere to display them, so the posters are usually even more rare than theatrical ones! This ABC showing was right after the movie's theatrical re-release in 1979, and that first TV broadcast had a Nielsen rating of 39.1 and was 57% of the total audience, which at that time was the second highest rated TV movie (behind the first showing of Gone with the Wind). This first showing was sponsored by the car company Datsun, and that got "Datsun presents" added to the poster above the title! We have only auctioned this poster once before! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has paper loss at lower left and some creases and scuff marks around the edges, and some lighter creases scattered in various areas. Obviously it could be displayed as is, or after a relatively simple linenbacking the poster will display wonderfully. Learn More about condition grades
