An Original Vintage Linenbacked World War I Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Third Liberty Loan, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("My daddy bought me a government bond of the Third Liberty Loan, did yours?") used to encourage people to buy government bonds (to help pay for the huge debts incurred during the war), and featuring great unsigned artwork of a little girl clutching a bond to her chest (which matures in 1932!).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had slight darkening in the edges of the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
