He is best remembered for playing Tarzan in the 1959 movie "Tarzan the Ape Man". He was the twelfth actor to play Tarzan, and he signed Tarzan related autographs with "#12". He also played the Gorton's Fisherman in TV commercials for 14 years. Some of his other roles include: TV's "Wagon Train", and The Norsemen. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 80. Note that our consignor is a major western buff who attended all of the western memorabilia shows of the 1970s on, and he became friendly with all the B-western stars who regularly attended those shows, and he would often socialize with them outside of the shows, and he obtained many signed photos in person over those years.
