Crime Against Joe, the 1956 Lee Sholem crime murder film noir ("He attacked me!... He attacked me!"; "Her scream stabbed through the night... And opened the floodgates to a town's reign of terror!"; "He was accused of the foulest act a man can commit!"; "the foulest crime a man can commit!"; "The body of what once was a beautiful singer is discovered... another girl is found screaming with hysteria... and suddenly... you are suspect no. 1!"; "'That's him... that's the man who attacked me!'"; "'We've seen him again... staring at the girls!'"; "'String him up... he's no better than a wild animal!'"; about a Korean War military veteran who "drops out" and becomes an artist, and therefore, of course, people distrust him, and he goes out with a sleazy singer, and when she is killed by a serial killer, the veteran becomes the focus of everyone's attention as the prime suspect, but a local car hop, "Slacks", believes in him and helps vindicate him!) starring John Bromfield (in the title role as Joe Manning), Julie London ("that 'Cry Me A River' gal, scorches the screen with her fire!"), Henry Calvin, Frances Morris, Addison Richards, Robert Keys, and John Pickard

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of the pressbook, plus an image of a two-page spread from inside of the pressbook (we do NOT picture any supplements or heralds, if there are any included with this pressbook), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Condition: good to very good, NO CUTS.
