An Unfolded German Travel Poster (measures 23 1/4" x 33" [59 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Goslar, the circa 1950s German travel poster (with a tagline that translates to "The medieval Harz town") encouraging people to visit Goslar, Germany. Note that this poster features Heinz + Suise Thate art depicting some of Goslar's most recognizable landmarks, including the Market Square, which is surrounded by the Town Hall with the Broad Gate in the foreground, and two spires of the Market Church, along with the Bakers' Guildhall in the background. In the distance, the Harz mountains can be seen, and the Goslar Medieval Imperial Eagle is shown at the bottom of the poster. Artist: Heinz + Suise Thate Condition: good. The poster has much discoloration mainly in the lower half (see our image). It has some deterioration and paper loss (partially repaired with tape from the back) at upper left and some edge defects.
