Robinson, Francis Lederer, Lya Lys, Henry O'Neill, George Sanders, Paul Lukas, Sig Ruman, Dorothy Tree, Lionel Royce, Henry Victor, and Hans Heinrich von Twardowski. Note that one of Warner Bros' executives was murdered by the Nazis in Germany in the 1930s, which caused that studio to be the first to cease distributing their movies in Germany. They also were the first major studio to make this openly anti-Nazi movie, which pulled no punches! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this lobby card! Warner Bros. did something very unusual with the lobby set for this movie! They created eight completely different lobby cards where each looks exactly like a "title card". One of the cards is the same as the half-sheet, so we consider that the true "title card", but the seven "scenes cards" absolutely look just like title cards. The card offered here is one of the scene cards. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has only slightly darkened, much less than most Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. It had a pinhole in the center of the card, with some smudges around it and beneath it, with some scuffs scattered throughout the card. It had a small tear in the left and right border, and someone put a small piece of tape on the back of each and performed slight restoration to the front of those two areas, and also to the front of the center of the card. It also has a pinhole in each corner and some water staining on the back of the top center that does not affect the front. There is a pinhole near the center of the top border and a scuff mark in the top center brown background area, and another scuff mark in the white background area above the top right tagline. There are a few other minor scuffs around the edges. The card will display nicely on the new owner's wall, because its defects are mostly only noticeable when looked at close up.
