An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 18 1/4") (Learn More)

Hanna Amon, the 1951 Veit Harlan German romantic family relationship melodrama (about a teacher and her personal and professional relationships) starring Kristina Soderbaum (in the title role as Hanna Amon; the wife of director Veit Harlan, and she starred in most of his movies after they were married), Lutz Moik, Ilse Steppat, Hermann Schomberg, and Elise Aulinger. Note that director Veit Harlan was one of the most infamous of the Nazi film directors, directing Jud Suss and many other virulent anti-Jewish Nazi movies during World War II. After the war, almost ALL of his movies were banned, not just the anti-Jewish ones, and he was put on trial for war crimes. But in 1950, after several trials, he was set free, and in 1951, he resumed making movies, making a dozen of them (including this one) until his passing in 1964.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/2" x 18 1/4". Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster originally had a blank top that was trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). There is staining, tattering, and paper loss around the edges of the poster.
