An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Wild Ride, the 1960 Harvey Berman automobile car racing sports crime thriller ("From roaring hot rods... to the racing big time"; about a hot rod crazy rebel who races on dirt tracks, and drinks and gets in trouble, and ends up kidnapping his friend's girlfriend, killing some policemen, and dying a well-deserved death!) starring Jack Nicholson (in his third movie, and his first top billed one!), Georgianna Carter, Robert Bean, Carol Bigby, and John Bologni NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had a tiny bit of paper loss in the vertical fold in the white background above the bottom credits. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
