An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Little Giant, the 1933 Roy Del Ruth post-Prohibition high society crime comedy spoof ("See what happens when a 'Little Caesar' tries to muscle in on the 400"; when Prohibition ends, a major bootlegger goes to California and tries to con a bunch of high society people, but he ends up getting taken himself) starring Edward G. Robinson, Mary Astor, Helen Vinson, Russell Hopton, and Shirley Grey NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. The card was "starch backed", which means that it was moistened with a special starch solution, attached to a backing, allowed to dry, and then the card had touch up while it was backed, and afterward, the backing was removed. This particular card had pretty minor border wear and some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image, with a pair of staple holes near the center of the card. The card was starch backed by a talented professional and expert restoration was performed to the above defects. The card looks fantastic, and it has had truly minor touch up, and best of all, it still completely looks and feels like an unrestored lobby card! Learn More about condition grades
