An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures approximately 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Argentine Love, the 1924 Allan Dwan silent South America Argentina romantic love triangle arranged marriage melodrama ("From the story by Vincente Blasco Ibanez"; who had earlier major hits with Valentino in "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" and "Blood and Sand") starring Bebe Daniels, Ricardo Cortez, James Rennie, Mario Majeroni, and Russ Whytal. Note that this was one of Ricardo Cortez's first major starring roles. He was a "Latin Lover" in the mold of Rudolph Valentino, but he actually was born in New York to Austrian parents, and his birth name was Jacob Krantz. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card was extremely slightly slimmed in the left blank border at a slight diagonal (it is around 1/8" at the top and a tiny fraction at the bottom). There are many dot stains around the edges.
