An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the classic 1954 Michael Curtiz post-World War II sisters holiday singing-and-dancing romantic musical (with classic "Lyrics and music by Irving Berlin"; "The most fabulous music-and-mirth show in motion picture history!"; "Joyous entertainment for every season, any year!!!!") starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, and Dean Jagger. Note that this was the first motion picture to be filmed in VistaVision! Also note that the title song "White Christmas" was first introduced in 1942 in the Fred Astaire/Bing Crosby movie "Holiday Inn", and it proved to be so popular that this movie was made, utilizing part of the plot of that earlier film, and reusing this song, which was now over a decade old, but it proved to be an even greater hit! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. The card was "starch backed", which means that it was moistened with a special starch solution, attached to a backing, allowed to dry, and then the card had touch up while it was backed, and afterward, the backing was removed. This particular card had tiny staple holes, smudges, and scuffs around the edges with a few within the image. The card was starch backed by a talented professional and expert restoration was performed to the above defects. The card looks fantastic, and it has had truly minor touch up, and best of all, it still completely looks and feels like an unrestored lobby card! Learn More about condition grades
