Benson and John Bains", and also based on stories by H.G. Wells and Angus MacPhail; the movie contains four unrelated short films linked by a dream sequence) starring Mervyn Johns, Roland Culver, Frederick Valk, Sally Ann Howes, Googie Withers, Hartley Power, Anthony Baird (billed as "Antony Baird"), Michael Redgrave (wonderful as a ventriloquist whose dummy takes on a life of its own, a plot that was later made the basis of entire movies!), and Ralph Michael NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
