Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had an extra vertical fold 1" to the left of the regular one, with many tears and areas of paper loss along all the folds and around the edges of the poster. It had a vertical tear running down the left side of Carey's face and down into the background below. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's many defects, a restorer did a pretty nice job, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
