An Original Vintage Theatrical French Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 8 1/2" x 12 1/4" [22 x 31 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) Rolled Stockings, the 1927 Richard Rosson silent romantic love triangle family relationship college sports melodrama ("Rolled Stockings with the Paramount Junior Stars"; about two brothers a couple of years apart at the same college, and one makes the crew team and the other does not, and both are after the same beautiful young co-ed) starring James Hall, Louise Brooks (in her best role to that point, and she was second billed), Richard Arlen, Nancy Phillips, and El Brendel. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: R. Houy Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook may have been removed from a large French exhibitor manual for this year, both because it has a number in the top right corner and because it has slight surface paper loss at the back of the spine. However, it IS the complete pressbook, which does show poster images from this movie, and it would only be that it was also included in an exhibitor book in addition to being printed separately as a pressbook. Also note that we have never before auctioned this French pressbook! Condition: fair to good, NO CUTS.
