World's Finest Comics was an American comic book series published by DC Comics from 1941 to 1986. The series was initially titled World's Best Comics for its first issue before switching to the more familiar name. It was originally solely a combination of DC's two leading superheroes, Superman and Batman, giving them a chance to appear together in the same stories, and most issues did focus solely on those two characters, with the occasional assist from Aquaman and other superheroes.
