Original Vintage Lobby Card (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Gabriel Over the White House, the classic 1933 Gregory La Cava religious political fantasy melodrama (based on the novels by T.F. Tweed; about an angel that transforms a newly inaugurated corrupt president into an idealistic wonderful president who helps the United States out of the Great Depression through bold sweeping changes that no politician has ever done, but only after he dies, and is resurrected by the angel!) starring Walter Huston (as the President), Karen Morley, Franchot Tone, Arthur Byron, Dickie Moore, Jean Parker, and David Landau. Note that this was an exceptionally unusual movie, especially to have come from a major Hollywood studio. It is rare that politics, fantasy, and religion cross in a single movie, and this movie had major elements of all three!
