An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) In This Our Life, the 1942 John Huston romantic love triangle melodrama ("Based upon the novel by Ellen Glasgow"; a pretty outrageous tale of a pair of sisters, one good and one bad, and the bad one dumps her fiancee and steals her sister's husband, and they go off and live together, but he kills himself, and the bad sister returns home to discover that her sister is now engaged to her former fiancee, and naturally, she wants to steal him back!) starring Bette Davis (as the bad sister), Olivia De Havilland (as the good sister), George Brent, Dennis Morgan, Charles Coburn, Frank Craven, Billie Burke, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, and John Hamilton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. The cardboard holder has staining around the staples.
