Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Where the Sidewalk Ends, the 1950 Otto Preminger romantic crime film noir ("From a Novel by William L. Stuart"; "Screen Play by Ben Hecht"; about a sometime violent police detective who falls for a beautiful woman who works as a department store model, and he tries to change his ways for her) starring Dana Andrews, Gene Tierney, Gary Merrill, Bert Freed, Tom Tully, Karl Malden, Ruth Donnelly, Craig Stevens, and Don Appell. Note that this movie reunited the stars and director of Laura from six years earlier, but that movie had the main characters from the upper class, and this movie has them from the working class, with a very different tone and theme from the earlier movie. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. there was separation in the top 3" of the vertical foldline and a 4" tear 3" to the left of it, both of which were repaired with tape from the back; there was a 1" tear in the bottom of the vertical foldline which was repaired with tape from the back; there is tiny paper loss at the top two crossfolds; there is a long, thin yellow stain that runs from the "LK" of "SIDEWALK" down to the bottom border, but it is hardly noticeable from the front of the poster (I saw it when I turned the poster over); there are several pinholes in each corner and tiny paper loss in the top right blank corner; there are minor creases and smudges throughout the poster; The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are mostly relatively minor and would vanish if it were linenbacked and the poster would look wonderful! Learn More about condition grades
