An Autographed 4 3/4" x 5 1/2" Album Page (Learn More)

Franchot Tone was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. He was married to Joan Crawford between 1935 and 1939. He started out as a leading man, but fairly early on, he shifted to playing "the other man" (the one who never got the girl!), and later he seamlessly shifted to playing character roles. Some of his movies include: Mutiny On The Bounty (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Advise & Consent, Bombshell, Phantom Lady, and Five Graves to Cairo. He passed away in 1968 at the age of 63.
Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Franchot Tone! The autograph could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display!

Note that our consignor purchased this item in a large collection of memorabilia, and he can provide no information about how the autograph was obtained, but we believe it to be genuine.

Condition: good to very good. There is discoloration at the right end of the autograph (caused by a photograph that was glued to the facing page in the album).
