An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81") (Learn More)

Rome Adventure (released outside the U.S. as "Lovers Must Learn"), the 1962 Delmer Daves Italy romantic melodrama ("Where should a Girl stop in Rome?"; "Lovers... you are welcome here... in Italy... where the people just smile knowingly and wish you the best of luck!"; "She wanted to learn about love from a mature, suave Italian with a villa by the sea - until a young, handsome American came along and changed her European plan."; "This was her European plan for learning about love... Naturally, when a girl goes to Rome there must first be an Italian lover... and then, of course, a charming young American to complete the course, of course!"; "ITALY... as you have never, never seen it...and love as they can only make it...and make it...in Italy!"; "The place where they made an art of everything... Especially love!") starring Troy Donahue, Angie Dickinson, Rossano Brazzi, Suzanne Pleshette (billed as "Introducing Suzanne Pleshette"), Italy ("as you've never never seen it!"), Constance Ford, and Al Hirt (the famous trumpet player, in a cameo role playing himself!)

Important Added Info: Note that the people who printed posters were often notoriously cheap, doing everything they could to save a few dollars. In the case of this poster, a single top credits piece was printed for both the domestic three-sheet (with the title "Rome Adventure") and for the international three-sheet (with the title "Lovers Must Learn"), and then two separate bottom pieces were printed with the two different titles. No doubt this saved them a tiny bit of money! What is unusual about this is that the top piece has BOTH the litho numbers printed on it, with the international title as well. We have never seen this on any poster before! This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections.

Condition: very good. There is some smudges and creases on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded, but it has little effect on the front, and otherwise, the poster is in pretty good condition.
