An Original 1932 Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Wild Women of Borneo, the 1931 (released in the U.S. in 1932) Charles Diltz English Southeast Asia adventure jungle native documentary ("Showing The Fire Ordeal at Singapore and The Sacred Forest of Lost Souls"). Note that few people likely expected this obscure 1931 English documentary to do much at the box office in the U.S. But in early 1932, a clever promoter released it throughout the U.S. with a heavy emphasis on the naked native women that appeared in the movie, and it was a huge box office smash, breaking records in many small towns! In addition, note that this movie was produced by "Television Productions Ltd.", and we have no idea what "television" referred to in this company's name, but we would like to know! If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1932 movie paper from this documentary are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a single scene card from this movie (and no other movie paper) until we received this title card, which has a sensational artwork image of topless women enduring the fire ordeal at Singapore! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good.
