An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 8" x 9" [20 x 23 cm]; 41 pages) (Learn More) MGM 1936-37, the 1936 spiral-bound campaign book ("Leo's Candid Camera Book") featuring information about the upcoming events, movies, the stars, and the staff from MGM in 1936-37 with short descriptions of each movie and cast. Note that this book was made in two versions. One had lots of black & white charcoal images of their top stars, with some nice color artwork images scattered throughout. The other did not have a single illustration on any page, not even the MGM logo. Obviously, this was likely because this was printed at the height of The Great Depression, so it seems likely that they sent the elaborate version to their top theaters and the no illustration version to small theaters. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There are smudges on the covers, but otherwise, the book is in pretty good condition!
