He was considered one of the greatest painters of the Post-Impressionist period. Some of his works include: The Marble Polisher, At the Moulin Rouge, Portrait of Gabrielle, and Le Coucher. Note that Toulouse-Lautrec suffered from congenital defects (possibly caused by inbreeding), and after childhood injuries, his legs stopped growing. He was only 4'8" tall as an adult. Toulouse-Lautrec passed away in 1901 at the age of 36 from a combination of alcoholism and syphilis. Artist: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Important Added Info: Note that this page was removed from a magazine. There is printing on the reverse side of the page, and we may or may not have photographed it. It was nicely matted to make a great inexpensive display! Condition: good to very good. The page was removed from a magazine and had some slight darkening and minor wear around the edges. It has been matted, but you can lift the upper mat and see that the actual page was solely attached to the mat with two pieces of tape very slightly touching the top edge of the page.
