An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Bride Came C.O.D., the classic 1941 William Keighley screwball romantic kidnapped heiress comedy ("From the Story by Kenneth Earl and M.M. Musselman"; "James Cagney and Bette Davis have the time of their lives in the hit of their lives"; one of only two movies these two great stars made together, and it is a shame, for they had wonderful chemistry; this is the movie where Bette Davis delivers the great line, "Mustard!") starring James Cagney, Bette Davis, Stuart Erwin, William Frawley, Eugene Pallette, Jack Carson, George Tobias, and Harry Davenport. Sadly, this was only the second time Cagney and Davis worked together. This is a very funny and entertaining movie, and it is clear they had great chemistry! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There is approximately 1" of separation at the bottom crossfold and there are some pairs of staple holes, and some areas of tattering and small paper loss around the edges of the poster. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and if one chose to have it restored it would look great with very little paint restoration needed! Learn More about condition grades
