Shanghai Bound, the 1927 Luther Reed silent China romantic crime adventure war melodrama (about the American captain of a small freighter who is sailing the seas near Shanghai, and he arrives there while there is an uprising, and the people there are starving, and he meets an odd group of people, including a singer named Shanghai Rose, and the people are attacked by bandits, and the owner of the boat and his daughter help the captain to defend themselves, and after they are rescued by an American warship, the captain reveals himself to be an undercover Navy officer, and he asks the owner's daughter to marry him) starring Richard Dix, Mary Brian, Charles Byer, George Irving, Jocelyn Lee, Tom Maguire, Frank Chew, and Allan Cavan. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this a very rare complete set of lobby cards for this movie (we have only auctioned one title card and one scene card for this movie but NEVER a complete set of cards for it!).

Condition: very good. Two of the cards have paper loss at lower left (see our images). Most have some minor edge defects and one has some writing along the lower blank border. The title card has a few smudges around the edges. The cards are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
