An Undated (probably 1930s) Re-Release (re-titled "Bring 'Em in Dead" for this re-release) Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Utah Kid, the 1930 Richard Thorpe cowboy western action adventure thriller starring Rex Lease, Dorothy Sebastian, Tom Santschi, Mary Carr, Walter Miller, and Boris Karloff (as Baxter the henchman!). Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99! Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned three first release lobby cards from this movie, but we have NEVER before auctioned this title card from this VERY deceptive re-release! The movie was made prior to Frankenstein and had Boris Karloff VERY low-billed. Some very clever distributor got the rights to this movie AFTER Karloff had his giant hit with Frankenstein in 1931, and not only re-released the movie with Karloff top-billed, they even more deceptively re-titled the movie "Bring 'Em In Dead", so it would have a horror sounding title! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair. There are water stains, creases, and tears down the left and right of the card, with creases and scuffs scattered throughout and pinholes around the edges.
