An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Contact Enlargement (Learn More) The Getaway, the classic 1972 Sam Peckinpah romantic crime action thriller ("Screenplay by Walter Hill"; "From the novel by Jim Thompson") starring Steve McQueen (as Doc McCoy), Ali MacGraw (as Carol McCoy), Ben Johnson (as Jack Beynon), Al Lettieri (as Rudy Butler), Sally Struthers ("as Fran"), Slim Pickens, Jack Dodson, Dub Taylor, and Bo Hopkins. Note that the source novel of this movie was pretty "unfilmable" as written (especially the ending!), but Walter Hill did an excellent job adapting it, and while it is not the same story, it is in many ways faithful to the original, and it is certainly one of the best movies of its kind ever made! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "contact enlargement". That means that a single image (either from the film, or a candid image taken on the set) was blown up to 8" x 10" size and then printed to be used for early publicity. They are not regular stills, and they sometimes have one or more wide borders, because the image does not fill the 8" x 10" size, or they have little or no borders, because they are printed close to the edges of the paper. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
