It's a spectacle light years ahead of its time from 20th Century Fox."; "Written and Directed by George Lucas"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Peter Cushing (as Grand Moff Tarkin), Alec Guinness (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Obi-Wan Kenobi), Anthony Daniels (as C-3PO), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), David Prowse (billed as "Dave Prowse"; as the man inside the Darth Vader suit!), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), and Phil Brown (as Uncle Owen) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Tom William Chantrell Important Added Info: Note that this poster has "aprobado No 78948/77" printed in the bottom left. The previous Argentinean posters we have auctioned do not have this, and this "Industria Argentina" has been located in a different place in the bottom border. This makes us suspect that the poster we are currently auctioning is from the very first printing in Argentina (because of the "approved" text, plus the "77") while the other ones without it may well be from a second printing (in the U.S. there were four different printings in 1977, because of how popular the movie was!). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There must have been some sort of snipe attached to the bottom left of the image, because there are two small tape stains in the lower left and middle right of the background area. Otherwise the poster has tiny separation at the bottom two crossfolds and the top border was folded back at one time. Learn More about condition grades
