An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Danny Thomas was an actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. He is perhaps best remembered for his role as Danny Williams in the popular television series "Make Room for Daddy". He is the father of Margo Thomas, and he is a founder of the St. Jude's Hospital, which does wonderful work for children with all sorts of diseases. Some of his movies include: Big City, Call Me Mister, I'll See You in My Dreams, and The Jazz Singer. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Danny Thomas! It was used by a wire service, and they put a snipe on the back that says that Mr. Thomas is "breaking attendance records at Slapsy Maxie's". Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity (unless noted above). Condition: very good.
