An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) No Time For Flowers, the 1953 Don Siegel romantic Communism crime comedy ("Kisses and champagne behind the Iron Curtain!"; "A gay romantic peek behind THE IRON CURTAIN!"; basically, this is a rip-off of the Greta Garbo movie "Ninotchka", with a loyal beautiful Communist party member being exposed to the decadence of Capitalism) starring Viveca Lindfors, Paul Hubschmid (billed as "Paul Christian"), Ludwig Stossel, Adrienne Gessner, and Peter Preses. Note that director Don Siegel later became famous for his film noir movies and his direction of Clint Eastwood, but before he settled into solely directing such movies, he took a break and directed this comedy! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.
