An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Another New Paramount Pictorial, 1932 a stock poster ("Intimate views of interesting people and events") for the series of 1930s short subjects from Paramount Pictures. We have seen two different stock posters for this series (from 1932 and 1936, and we imagine they were like what you see on "CBS Sunday Morning", profiling unusual people or unusual locations, but we don't really know. Since one of the two posters says "Newest" and the other says "Another New", it seems quite possible that there was an even earlier one before those two, but we have never seen any others). Note that the poster has an art deco type look showing an airplane, the New York skyline, and members of an orchestra. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that the poster is undated, but it has a litho number, and comparing this number to our massive database of litho numbers taken from actual movie posters, we can determine that this poster is almost certainly from 1932! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was folded in half an extra time. It had many tears and areas of paper loss on parts of many foldlines, with extra horizontal folds 1/2" above the regular horizontal folds. It had some pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was really well backed by a talented restorer, and it displays well, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
