Date Sold 8/5/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Unfolded Japanese Special Poster (measures 29 1/4" x 41" [74 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Expo '70 was a 1970 World's Fair which was held from March 15th to September 13th in Osaka, Japan. The theme of the Expo was "Progress and Harmony for Mankind" and this was the first World's Fair held in Japan. Artist: Yusaku Kamekura Important Added Info: Note that this poster is printed with a gold metallic ink, and it is extremely striking in person (it is difficult to get an image of it that conveys how it looks)! We have only previously auctioned two examples of it, and the last one sold for $316! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some scuffs in the solid black background areas, typical of posters like this. There are also scuffs in the center of the poster, in the gold areas. In spite of the above scuffing, the poster displays pretty well (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
