Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, the classic 1927 F.W. Murnau silent romantic love triangle crime melodrama ("The outstanding achievement of the motion picture art"; "Scenario by Carl Mayer"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring George O'Brien (as "The Man"), Janet Gaynor (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as "The Wife"), Margaret Livingston (as "The Woman From The City"), Bodil Rosing, and J. Farrell MacDonald. Note that at the very first Oscar ceremony, this movie was awarded the Oscar for "Best Picture, Unique and Artistic Production". Also, Janet Gaynor won that first Best Actress Academy Award (it was for this movie and two others she made that year).

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this jumbo lobby card, and that was 24 years ago, when it sold for $495. That card has now been reconsigned to us after all these years, so it is still the only example we have ever auctioned!

Condition: very good. The card had a pinhole in each corner and some minor border wear with a few faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. Someone long ago performed slight restoration to the above defects without backing the card.
