6d0154 LOT OF 11 PICTURE SHOW ENGLISH MOVIE MAGAZINE SUPPLEMENTS 1920s-1930s City Lights & more!

a lot of 11 1920s - 1930s movie magazine supplements (4 pages printed on the front and back of a single sheet) from Picture Show ("The paper for people who go to the pictures"), an English movie entertainment magazine published from 1919 to the 1950s (maybe other years as well), featuring many photos and articles of popular films and movie stars! Note that the magazine was initially called "Picture Show", but at some point around 1940 it was changed to "Picture Show & Film Pictorial" and that at some later point in the 1950s, its name changed to "Picture Show and TV Mirror" (when it added coverage of TV shows). We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all 4 pages from all of the supplements (we unfolded them and pictured the front and back, which shows all 4 pages of each supplement).

Note that in the late 1920s and early 1930s, the top English movie magazines started including "supplements" in the center of the magazine (sometimes they were bound in, and sometimes they were loose). These were like the Sunday newspaper "rotogravure" sections, and were all sepia and had great images from then-current movies. What is offered in this lot is 11 of these supplements that were removed from the magazines that they originally came in.
