An Original 1973 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More) Daikyoju Gappa (released in English-speaking countries as "Gappa, the Triphibian Monster"), the 1967 Haruyasu Noguchi Japanese kaiju battling rubbery monsters science fiction (sci-fi) action thriller starring Gappa (an amphibious monster with a head similar to a chicken!), Tamio Kawaji, Yoko Yamamoto, Tatsuya Fuji, Koji Wada, and Yuji Okada Artist: Ewa Gargulinska Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had some tiny creases and tiny bits of paper loss on the fold and pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
