An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (measures 40" x 60") (Learn More) Queen of Blood, the 1966 Curtis Harrington AIP vampire-type science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("Hideous Beyond Belief... with an Inhuman Craving!"; which takes place in the amazing 'future' of 1990!, produced by Roger Corman) starring John Saxon, Basil Rathbone, Judi Meredith, Dennis Hopper, Florence Marly (in the title role as the alien queen), and Forrest J. Ackerman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. There was a 15" tear near the center of the bottom border that ran up through the right edge of the woman's mouth and stops at the right of her nose. It was repaired with tape from the back, but there is some surface paper loss in a few areas along the tear. There is a similar 10" tear in the center of the top border which was repaired with tape from the back. There are creases and a few small tears in the borders, and some were repaired with tape from the back. There are many creases around the edges of the image and some scattered through the image. IN THIS SPECIAL HALLOWEEN AUCTION, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like separation on folds, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
