The strip continues through today. Not only did Dick Tracy have wonderful villains (like Batman, but most of them were very politically incorrect), but he also featured then-cutting edge technology including a wrist phone! Several movie adaptations of the crime stories have been made, most notably as serials in the 1940s and in the feature film starring Warren Beatty in the title role in 1990.
