An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian Daybill Movie Poster (db; measures 13 1/4" x 30 1/4" [34 x 77 cm]) (Learn More) Adventure, the 1945 Victor Fleming romantic love triangle gambling melodrama ("Victor Fleming's Production of MGM's Adventure"; "Based on a novel by Clyde Brion Davis") starring Clark Gable (this was Gable's first movie after three years in World War II, and the tagline was "Gable's back and Garson's got him!"), Greer Garson, Joan Blondell, Thomas Mitchell, Tom Tully, John Qualen, Richard Haydn, Lina Romay, Harry Davenport, Betty Blythe, and Pierre Watkin. Note that this movie was the first one that Clark Gable made after serving in World War II, and that is why the tagline for the movie started with "Gable's back", because he enlisted in the war, as did so many other top stars! There are a few 1/4" and smaller tears around the edges of the poster in the blank borders and there are a few tiny tears along the bottom horizontal fold.
