Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Dark Secrets, the 1923 Victor Fleming silent romantic melodrama ("By Edmund Goulding"; about the fiancee of a rich man who is paralyzed when she is thrown from a horse, and an Egyptian doctor says he can cure her, but only if she agrees to marry him; of course, she refuses after he heals her, and the doctor attacks her, and he is killed, but not before he curses her which paralyzes her again!) starring Dorothy Dalton, Robert Ellis, Jose Ruben, Ellen Cassidy, Pat Hartigan, and Warren Cook. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. As is typical with older glass slides, this slide has no holder, but has black tape around all the edges of the glass. The slide is in about as good condition as can be expected.
