An Autographed Letter (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]) (Learn More) Anna Lee was an English actress of the 1930s, who continued acting all the way to the 1990s, including in some wonderful movies like The Sound of Music, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? In 1981 she became "Lila Quartermaine" in TV's General Hospital, and she stayed in that role until 2003. She passed away in 2004, at the age of 91! Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Anna Lee! It is a long 2-page hand typed letter in reply to author Scott Nollen, who was writing a book about Boris Karloff, and he asked her for her memories of working with Karloff in Bedlam (and also her memories of Val Lewton and Mark Robson), and it is filled with great content. We know it was hand typed by Miss Lee, because she wrote "Please forgive my spelling. My typing is not too good." She also mentioned that she is working on her late husband's autobiography (Robert Nathan), and that she has to transcribe his tapes that he made from between age 85 and age 90, and how hard it is to transcribe the tapes. She also gives her home phone number, but we are sure that is no longer good! Note that this item comes to us from an author who has written many books, and and had personal correspondence with many celebrities over the past 35 years, and we are 100% certain the autograph on this item is authentic!
