eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result f153 SILENT ENEMY glass slide '30 Native Americans Date Sold 9/20/2005Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Silent Enemy, the 1930 H.P. Carver Native American Indian documentary ("The breath-taking thrills of 'Chang' the excitement of 'Four Feathers' - Combined!"; about the life of Indians in Northern Canada) featuring Chief Yellow Robe, Chief Buffalo Child Long Lance, Chief Akawanush, Spotted Elk, and Cheeka Important Added Info: It appears that someone replaced the original cardboard holder of the slide with a home-made one, but the glass itself is in pretty nice condition! Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
