Appears in Vintage Hollywood Posters 7 CATALOG SOLD OUT The image at right appears in the auction catalog we published as shown above and was sold long ago and we do NOT have it available for purchase. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 28" x 42") (Learn More) Psychedelic Sex Kicks, the 1968 sexploitation drugs thriller ("Up-Tight Squares Join the Hippies and their Hip Chicks they've scored for Acid, Pot & Grass! This is where it's at... It's a Sex FREAK OUT!"; "This Trip is FOR REAL!"; "Nothing like it before! It's a stone's groove...") starring Glen McKay, Janie Boyde, Julie Boone, Ariel Meredith, and The Happy Hippies. The movie was released by Pot Heads Experimental Films as a double-bill with Wild Hippie Orgy, also known as Wild Hippie Party ("2nd Hippie Hit"; "The free love group in the nudie flesh!"; "True... Bold... Authentic! In Color!"). We don't know if either of these movies ever had an individual release, but we highly doubt that they did! Newspapers do show that Psychedelic Sex Kicks was paired with a different films at some theaters but we couldn't find another pairing for Wild Hippie Orgy. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is undated and has no printing information anywhere on it and no writing anywhere on the back. But it is surely an authentic 1960s poster, and judging from the descriptions of the movies, it would seem to surely date from the late 1960s. Also note that this poster measures 28" x 42" and that it is folded in the way that most one-sheets are folded. Condition: good to very good. a series of four 2" vertical tears in the left of the top foldline with many horizontal creases in the same area; this entire area is also slightly discolored, but you see that more from the back of the poster than you do from the front; the top left border is tattered and there is a tear that extends into the image; there is separation and small paper loss at the top two crossfolds and separation at the bottom crossfold; there are creases along the foldlines and around the edges of the poster and there are pinholes in the corners. Note that while this poster has clear defects especially in the top left of the image area, it appears that there is only slight paper loss, and that the poster would respond extremely well to expert restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, its defects would pretty much disappear, and the poster would look great with little paint anywhere on it. Learn More about condition grades
