Known for socially conscious and sexually provocative records, and elaborate stage shows, she has been a prominent figure in popular culture for over forty years. The sister of Michael Jackson and the youngest child of the Jackson family, she began her career with the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976. Having sold over 100 million records, Jackson is one of the best-selling artists in the history of contemporary music. Some of her works include: Nasty, Rhythm Nation and That's the Way Love Goes. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Janet Jackson! Our consignor was on a Quantas flight from Australia to Los Angeles in the late 1990s, and she signed it for our consignor on the flight. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
