A Folded Indian Advertising Poster (measures 28 3/4" x 38 1/2" [73 x 98 cm]) (Learn More) Associated Printers Madras, the circa 1930 Indian advertising poster ("Poster printing") promoting the services of the Associated Printers of Madras (now Chennai), India. Note that Associated Printers were well-known for their "Visit India" travel posters of the 1930s, and this poster has great colorful art of Indians doing everyday tasks. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has tears scattered down the left border, with small paper loss in the bottom left corner. It has a 4" tear in the lower right border, with small tears scattered above it and below it. Someone put tape on the back of those tears and also on the back of a tear in the center of the bottom border, and all of those pieces of tape bled through to the front in varying amounts. There is also a stamp and numbers in the bottom left above the title. There is very minor fold wear and some smudges and scuffs scattered in the poster. The above defects can certainly be corrected through a relatively simple linenbacking. Learn More about condition grades
