An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare, the 1975 David Winters rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) horror concert musical rockumentary documentary ("It's the JAWS of Rock!"; "Now a motion picture"; "In SoundAround Stereo") featuring Alice Cooper, Josef Chirowski, Pentti Glan, Steve Hunter, Prakash John, Dick Wagner, and Vincent Price (as the Spider Voice) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Drew Struzan Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had creases along the foldlines. There was a pinhole in the white area to the right of the triangular image. There were creases above the left of the top foldline. There were some numbers on the back of the poster which slightly bleed through in the white area and in the letter "E" of "THE" in the title, "THE ALICE COOPER SHOW". Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the tiny defects, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
