Date Sold 1/19/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 12 4" x 11" title strips from Tim Holt movies (we know that these were sometimes used at the top of movie theater frames, and sometimes used at the box office, and no doubt they were used in other ways as well). They are on a heavy paper stock. . Tim Holt was an actor from the 1920s to the 1970s. He was the son of Columbia star Jack Holt, and he appeared in one of his dad's movies when he was 10 years old, playing his father's character as a boy. He next appeared in movies in 1937 when he was 18, and he soon graduated to B-westerns, but he had two great triumphs in A-movies: The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, and The Magnificent Ambersons. Some of his other movies include: Stagecoach, My Darling Clementine, and Stella Dallas. He passed away in 1973 at the age of 54. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1940s to the 1950s.
