Some of his movies include: Red River, My Darling Clementine, and Spartacus. He was previously married to Joanne Dru, but the marriage broke up after he had an affair with Joan Crawford. Ireland passed away in 1992 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by John Ireland! Note that this is a program for a one-man show John Ireland did (a knowledgeable collector tells us that he saw an early version of the show in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1949 or 1950 but this program would seem to be from a later version based on the films mentioned). About the Collection this Item Comes From Note that this item (and 4 others we are auctioning this week, each in its own auction) was consigned to us by a man who has been a collector of movie memorabilia for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together some of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of these 5 autographed items we are auctioning were purchased by this collector either from longtime dealers or other collectors, and we feel it is certain that the autograph on this item is authentic!
