An Original Vintage Theatrical German 8" x 10 3/4" Movie Still (Learn More) Faust - Eine deutsche Volkssage (released in the U.S. as "Goethe's Faust"), the classic 1926 F.W. Murnau German silent good-vs-evil fantasy melodrama ("An UFA Production"; based on the play by Johann Wolfgang Goethe; about the Devil offering an aging chemist success, money, youth, and love, in return for his soul) starring Gosta Ekman (in the title role as Faust), Emil Jannings (as Mephistopholes), Camilla Horn, Frida Richard, William Dieterle, and Hanna Ralph NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" still for this German movie! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 8" x 10 3/4". Condition: good to very good. The still was very neatly trimmed on all four sides. It does not affect very much of the image at all, although the very bottom of the UFA symbol is cut off below the letters.
